Health Care Training

Job Growth in the healthcare sector is expected to out pace that of the overall economy over the next decade.  According to the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), healthcare jobs will account for 10 of the 20 fastest growing occupations between 2002 and 2012.  The fastest growing occupations will include Nursing aids, orderlies, attendants, and personal & home care aids.

"All Healthcare programs now include Basic Life Support in the training programs"

Skills required:  Knowledge and skills required of SC nurse aid to assist patients in hospitals and extended care facilities.  Also prepares for the state examination certification. 

Tuition - $714  Other costs:  SLED check - $25, Insurance $8, Books and Materials approximately $85.00.  Register in person please.

Help Save Lives

The 911 operator is trained to remain focused so they can calmly identify and dispatch police, fire or emergency medical services that will assist callers during an emergency.  In this class you will develop the skills and learn the techniques necessary to help save lives. Tuition $2646.00

REGISTRATION MUST BE DONE IN PERSON. ROOM E-4 MAIN CAMPUS. Students make appt. with Kevin Fowler for Work Keys test before registering. Students must present WorkKeys test results when registering. (864-592-6190) SLED check information will be done at registration. Additional fees are $50 for Workkeys testing, $25 for SLED background check, $3 for enrollment fee and approximately $400 for book costs.

This comprehensive 65 hour EKG Technician Certification Program prepares students to function as EKG Technicians and to take the ASPT - Electrocardiograph Technician Examination.
