What our Corporate & Community Education Students are saying about us . . .

Healthcare Training

Nursing Assistant/Arrhythmia Technician
EKG Technician

After working for my family business for 20 years, we were forced to close due to the poor economy.  I enrolled at SCC's CNA/Arrhythmia course in hopes I could begin a 2nd career at age 52.  I passed the course and the SC State Board exam and immediately enrolled in another class at SCC (EKG Technician).  On December 14, 2009 I was hired at Mary Black Hospital for full time employment plus benefits.  Thank You SCC -- Great school with wonderful instructors!  Instructors are Pam Wilhelm and Tammy Lawson.

911 Hot Keys Class

Pete was totally professional. He went above and beyond to make sure we experienced other types of applications so that we would be better prepared in the future. I'm thankful for that. I would highly recommend him to others interested in pursuing this type of skills set.

Web Design Part 1

Kristian Echols, Instructor for Web Design, is a real teacher and he wants you to learn.  He teaches his class in simple easy to understand terms.  I am excited and want to take the Part 2 and Part 3 as soon as possible.

Jenny Bond, Program Coordinator for Computer classes, has just been wonderful.  If I had any questions about anything, she jumped right in and I was amazed at how fast she responded.  She has been a tremendous help to me.

Microsoft Access 2003

I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to Pete Tintle for the class on Beginning Access I had today.  He kept it at a level that I kept up with while keeping it interesting at the same time.  I am going back to my office now and play with what I have learned and will be looking at taking the Intermediate class shortly.

Pete Tintle is an asset to this course and this Community College.

I wish this class could last a little longer, but from the time I did spend, it was well worth coming.  Great instructor who will stay with you to make sure that you completely understand what is asked from you.
